Job summary

Cross Country Education in Tacoma, Washington seeks a School Services Sign Language Interpreter for a local contract position. Provide sign language interpretation between Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and staff across classroom and school settings.

You will interpret lessons, meetings, testing, and activities, prepare by reviewing materials, and collaborate with educators to promote effective communication.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree + EIPA score 3.5+ or Bachelor's degree + EIPA 4.0+ or National Interpreting Certification.
• Experience interpreting in educational settings strongly preferred.

Position Overview

Provide sign language interpretation between Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and teachers, staff, and other school community members across classroom and school-based settings.

Qualifications
