Job summary

Fair Lawn Public Schools is seeking a Human Resources Information Specialist for the Central Office – Edison School. This 12-month, full-time role focuses on HRIS updates, data integrity, and system-wide HR processes.

The ideal candidate will have HR or IT credentials, experience with educational software platforms, and strong communication and analytical skills to support district operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with educational HR software platforms and HR platforms.
• Experience managing HR information systems updates, changes, and implementations.
• Knowledge of education HR database design and functions.
• Detail- and process-oriented; able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in demonstrating innovation and creativity by continually improving internal processes and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Able to work in a dynamic organization by balancing multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace and managing data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective presentation skills.
