Job summary

Council Rock School District is seeking a highly organized Human Resources Specialist (Confidential), Permanent Support Staff anticipated, located at Chancellor Center in Newtown, PA. Available January 2027, 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week.

The role supports onboarding, benefits administration, employment verifications, and training. The HRIS experience with Tyler Munis and PowerSchool is essential; strong communication and confidentiality are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years of HR experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access).
• Experience with HRIS and HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and coordination of employee benefit programs.
• Coordinate, schedule, and conduct new employee onboarding and orientations.
• Work with HRIS systems (Tyler Munis, PowerSchool) for records and reporting.
• Calculate and maintain payroll deductions related to benefits.
• Assist with employment verifications and PSLF documentation.
• Monitor training records and maintain confidential personnel files.
• Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding HR procedures and benefits.
• Provide administrative support to the HR Department as needed.
