Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics seeks an Educational Diagnostician to assess students, determine eligibility for services, and advocate for resources that support success. You will identify needs and help teams secure appropriate supports within a collaborative environment.

You’ll conduct psycho-educational evaluations, discuss findings with families and staff, and work with ARD teams to ensure effective programs. This role emphasizes student-centered planning and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education or equivalent.
• Current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
• At least one year of experience as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to determine eligibility for services.
• Review findings with parents and district staff, providing clear communication.
• Collaborate to develop evidence-based interventions to improve student performance.
• Participate in ARD meetings and related parent conferences to ensure appropriate services.
