Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking an Educational Diagnostician to assess students, determine eligibility for services, and advocate for needed resources. You will communicate findings to parents and school staff, and collaborate to implement evidence-based interventions that improve learning outcomes.

Responsibilities include ARD participation, parent conferences, and ensuring programs meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education or equivalent.
• At least one year as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.
• Bilingual proficiency preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments to determine students’ eligibility for services.
• Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear and compassionate communication.
• Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance and access to education.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to ensure programs meet students’ needs effectively.
