Job summary

Corvallis School District is seeking an Educational Assistant 2 at Adams Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves supporting licensed staff in instructional activities, preparing materials, and supervising student activities to promote learning and safety.

The position is limited term, with daily hours of 6.5 and a Monday–Friday schedule. Starting as soon as possible, the role offers a $21.25/hr rate with benefits and eligibility for the Oregon PERS/OPSRP retirement system.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (or higher) or 72 quarter/48 semester credits.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to organize, store and retrieve information and follow schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed staff in instruction and student learning in small groups or one-on-one settings.
• Prepare instructional materials and visual aids; copy and distribute supplies and equipment.
• Support classroom discipline and safety; promote positive student interactions.
• Supervise activities inside and outside the classroom as assigned to support instructional programs.
• Assist staff in training volunteers and other adults working with students.
