Responsibilities include coordinating center activities, data monitoring, reporting, and professional development to ensure students meet program objectives and contribute to NOAA initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Ed.D. or Ph.D. in Education from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Experience in higher-education workforce development with demonstrated success in graduate students in agency‑mission fields and assessments proving attainment of requisite working skills and competencies.
  • Strong record of scholarly activity.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

  • Provide center-wide leadership and coordination to support student development and NOAA mission alignment.
  • Coordinate with data and information management to monitor and provide timely interventions aligned with SMART objectives.
  • Lead center outcomes to support the LMRCSC program purpose, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Distinguished Research Scientist to develop professional development experiences for Center students and verify performance data with an external evaluator.
  • Participate in LMRCSC Executive Committee meetings.
