Job summary

The Learning and Development Coordinator for Education and Vocation Division at Good Shepherd Services will support training objectives, maintain records, and schedule employee training across NYC sites.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• At least two years of experience in a related field highly desired.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use public transportation for travel to program locations throughout New York City.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and coordinates training sessions; reserves spaces; ensures audiovisual equipment.
• Maintains attendance and completion records.
• Develops a division-specific training calendar and tracks schedules.
• Researches training products and enhances the division’s training library.
• Partner with supervisors to support training access and compliance reporting.
• Provide support for virtual and in-person training.
• Assist leadership in improving trainings to boost staff performance.
