Job summary

Utica Community School District Administrative Services Center - Sterling Heights, Michigan, is seeking a Technology Analyst to join our team immediately as a full-time professional. The role focuses on supporting Student Information Systems and Learning Management Systems, with responsibilities spanning staff training, data extraction, and project support.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in computer science or related field or Associate Degree with commensurate experience.
• 3-5+ years in a large multi-site environment.
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and GPO.
• Familiarity with enterprise-class system configuration and management techniques, solutions, and best practices.
• High level of understanding and usage of Student Information Systems and Learning Management Systems, or management of large databases.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Servers, Active Directory, GPO, Microsoft SCCM, InTune, Azure, Windows, and mobile operating systems.
• Scripting experience (e.g. VB Script, Python, Powershell, WinBatch) is a plus.
• Understanding and usage of Microsoft Office products.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Positive work ethic and willingness to handle any issue presented.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for Student Information Systems and Learning Management Systems.
• Train and assist office staff in the use of SIS and LMS.
• Assist district leadership in filtering and extracting information from SIS and LMS.
• Assist with other technology projects as directed by department administration and Technology Leads.
• Research, evaluate, recommend and implement technology solutions.
• Work with Technology Leads to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects. Assist Helpdesk techs in troubleshooting service issues.
• Create and maintain systems documentation.
• Support technology system and end-users.
• Provide occasional after-hours support as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
