Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Understanding of Help Desk processes, procedures, and tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of iPadOS.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Willingness to stay current with trends in computing.
• Understanding of A/V systems and interactive projectors.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation for travel to school sites.
• Good attendance and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage a school-wide 1:1 laptop network.
• Provide technical support to staff and assist county technicians for equipment installation and maintenance.
• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows and iPadOS client systems.
• Provide first-level staff training.
• Troubleshoot and repair A/V products (projectors, cameras).
• Support printing and 3D printers.
• Organize laptop and iPad carts for classrooms.
• Maintain asset information and assist with audits.
• Assist with e-cycling of old equipment.
• Perform admin tasks in Active Directory and Microsoft365.
• Diagnose and repair hardware on student/staff devices.
• Open, monitor, and resolve support tickets.
• Relocate equipment and cabling as needed.
• Support technology initiatives per county plan.
• Assist staff on special projects.
