Albemarle County Public Schools Technology is seeking a dedicated Technology Support Specialist to maintain and support personal computers, iPads, peripherals, and software across multiple school sites in a technology-rich environment.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, teamwork, and project involvement, with opportunities to lead cross-site technology initiatives and provide user support for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Information Systems or related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to document issues clearly.
• Experience supporting technology in educational environments preferred.
• Possession of a valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PC, iPad, and peripherals support across multiple sites.
• Install and configure applications, updates, and network hardware.
• Maintain high availability of systems for assessments and testing.
• Communicate changes and issues to clients; document incidents.
• Lead cross-site technology projects and training as needed.
