Job summary

Questeq seeks a Technology Director (On-Site) to lead the Athens Area School District's technology team. You will be the main liaison between Questeq and the district, directing IT delivery and coordinating across budgets, licenses, and staff development.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a technical field, leadership experience, and strong planning skills. This full-time, benefited position supports on-site operations and strategic tech initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technically related field.
• A+, Network+ and Microsoft certifications preferred.
• Strong experience with Apple products and Windows preferred.
• Experience with leadership & vision and strategic planning.
• Familiarity with ethics & policies and instructional focus.
• Experience with team building and staff development.
• Defines staff performance expectations and drives improvement.
• Extensive experience in Information Technology Management.
• Familiarity with communication and business systems management.
• Experience with data management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Athens Area School District technology team on-site.
• Serve as primary interface between Questeq and the district.
• Manage overall education technology delivery model.
• Coordinate budgets, purchasing, licenses and inventory.
• Oversee day-to-day IT support and network operations.
• Develop and manage project schedules; lead meetings.
• Provide periodic status reports and drive process improvements.
