Job summary

Fraser Public Schools is hiring a Technology Support Assistant at Fraser High School to provide frontline tech support to staff and students. The role focuses on helping users, managing the help desk, and keeping technology in good working order across the building.

The position is ten months with hours set by school needs. It requires a diploma, with an Associates degree preferred, plus familiarity with Office 2016/365 and macOS/iOS ecosystems, plus strong customer service and communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associates degree preferred; experience may compensate.
• A+ or Apple Technician certifications recommended.
• Familiarity with MS Office and macOS/iOS environments expected.
• Experience providing 1st level technology support in education is preferred.
• Experience with installing, upgrading and maintaining software/hardware.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff and students in using district technology.
• Manage building help desk requests for district tech.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technology problems.
• Maintain inventory of technology and equipment.
• Install and maintain technology as directed by district tech.
• Assist with quotes and ordering of tech supplies.
• Provide training and documentation on current tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Educational Technology or principal.
