Job summary

The Spring-Ford Area School District is seeking a Technology Support Technician to be the frontline contact for district staff and students seeking help with technology. The role includes answering calls and emails to the Technology Support Center and providing remote and in-person support, training, and assistance across district facilities.

Hours are 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, 12 months per year, with compensation at $26.80 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technology support to students and staff is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to document incidents and requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technology support for District personnel and students in a friendly and professional manner.
• Perform troubleshooting and research toward the resolution of technology related problems.
• Configure technology equipment to support instruction and end-user operations.
• Facilitate deployment of technology equipment to District personnel.
• Assist with testing software and hardware.
• Provide on-site installation, support and troubleshooting at all district buildings.
• Maintain and order computer and printer supplies for designated buildings.
• Move technology equipment between district buildings for school initiatives.
• Support staff development and training on new technology and update Incidents & Service Requests.
• Escalate unresolved problems to technical SMEs or supervisor and assist with inventory data.
