Job summary

The Technology Specialist at Summit Public Schools serves as the primary technical partner and operational anchor across assigned school sites. You will deliver rapid support, maintain site infrastructure, manage IT inventory, and implement innovative tech solutions to enhance teaching and learning.

You'll work with educators and students, travel between sites, and help deploy Google Workspace, Windows, ChromeOS, and AV equipment while ensuring device health and user satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 1-4 years of tier-1/tier-2 IT support experience, troubleshooting devices, and handling helpdesk requests.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace administration, Windows OS, ChromeOS, Zoom, basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical partner and operational anchor across assigned school sites.
• Deliver rapid, responsive technical support for hardware, software, and systems.
• Maintain site equipment and inventory: laptops, AV gear, printers, and network devices.
• Support academic environments and digital learning platforms to ensure technology availability.
• Administer core cloud platforms: Google Workspace, VMware environments, and filtering tools.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity in coordination with central network team.
• Lead operational projects and document processes for improvements.
