Job summary

Summit Public Schools is hiring a Technology Specialist to join its Technology Team. Based at school sites in Seattle/Tacoma or Bay Area, you’ll deliver high-quality support, manage devices, and enable educators with modern tools to unlock student potential.

You’ll support daily classroom instruction, maintain infrastructure, and drive AI adoption and workflow automation while coordinating with vendors and remote teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-4 years of experience delivering tier-1/tier-2 IT support and managing helpdesk requests.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace administration, Windows OS, ChromeOS, Zoom, basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical partner and point of contact for assigned school sites.
• Provide rapid, responsive technical support for hardware, software, and systems.
• Maintain site laptops, AV equipment, projectors, printers, and filtering tools.
• Manage Google Workspace, VMware, and network content filtering access and permissions.
• Troubleshoot network issues in collaboration with central network team.
• Lead operational projects and document processes to improve site operations.
