Job summary

Google Education is seeking a Strategy and Operations leader to partner with senior leadership and drive cross‑functional programs that scale education products globally, translating high‑level goals into actionable plans.

You will influence executives, establish and optimize operating processes and KPIs, lead end‑to‑end initiatives with product, engineering, and education teams, and help deliver impactful changes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 11 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
• Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross‑functional programs or projects.
• Preferred: Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience gathering and analyzing data to uncover insights, with a proven ability to synthesize and simplify complex information into actionable strategies.
• Experience working with product and engineering teams.
• Track record of managing complex systems, cross‑functional stakeholder groups, and large‑scale change management initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability to represent complex business or technical concepts with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Influence team members and executive management to act and drive projects to completion.
• Establish and lead operating processes and tools for effectively managing the organization and achieving goals.
• Lead strategic projects that are operationally intensive and cross‑functional to ensure there is structure and timely delivery of project goals. Drive end‑to‑end operational accuracy to ensure flawless execution of the highest‑priority goals.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and timelines for each project, regular metrics reporting, that tie back to strategic goals, and post‑implementation impact analysis. Lead Objectives and Key Result (OKR) scoring.
• Support annual planning activities for the Education portfolio.
