Job summary

Onward Search is seeking a proactive Recruiter to source, recruit, and place candidates in contract roles within K-12 education. You will build a robust candidate pipeline, screen for fit, and negotiate compensation to align with client needs and candidate expectations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, relationship management, and the ability to manage multiple placements while delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the staffing industry; education industry experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of the recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and placement.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on phone outreach and relationship management.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple candidates and placements simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing Candidates: Utilize our database, job boards, and various internet sites to identify and attract qualified candidates for open roles.
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of talent through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building.
• Qualifying Candidates: Conduct thorough candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and fit for specific roles.
• Negotiating Compensation: Discuss and negotiate pay rates and compensation packages with candidates, ensuring alignment with both candidate expectations and client needs.
• Candidate Management: Provide ongoing support to candidates after placement, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction in their roles.
• Internet Savvy: Stay up-to-date with online recruiting tools and strategies to effectively source and engage potential candidates.
