Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Recruiter Trainee in Portland to build core recruiting skills and advance to a Recruiter 1 role. You will be guided by experienced leaders, handling sourcing, screening, selecting, and placing while learning our processes and tools.

During training, employees are non-exempt and paid $24.29/hour (first 13 weeks). After completion, you are promoted to Recruiter 1 with a $60,000 salary and uncapped commission potential.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English required.

• Action oriented with a track record of meeting KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse daily workload across Recruiting, Operations, Reporting, and Meetings.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced team environment with shared phone coverage and quick responses.
• Prioritize premium roles and maintain strong candidate pipelines.
• Source, engage, and cold call prospective candidates using recruiting tools.
• Support inbound calls from healthcare professionals and clients, ensuring timely assistance.
