Job summary

The Math Learning Center is seeking a Proposal Specialist in Oregon to craft compelling proposals from opportunity to submission. You will partner with colleagues and subject matter experts across MLC to translate our work into clear responses that demonstrate how we support students and educators.

The role blends writing, project management, and process improvement in a hybrid or onsite setting. You’ll manage timelines, coordinate contributors, and maintain records in Salesforce, ensuring

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience writing and coordinating RFPs, proposals, grants, or similar submissions.
• Experience working in education and/or familiarity with state curriculum adoption processes is preferred.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to synthesize information and communicate clearly and persuasively.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through, particularly for complex requirements and deadlines.
• Ability to learn and communicate about MLC's products, services, and value proposition.

Responsibilities

• Write winning proposals reflecting MLC's value proposition.
• Coordinate cross-functional contributors for accurate, complete responses.
• Manage timelines from start to finish, including writing, review, and submission.
• Develop strategies from research on trends and customer needs.
• Research organizational priorities to align responses with client plans.
• Report on proposal outcomes and seek process improvements.
• Project manage pursuits and track concurrent work across the team.
• Update customer information in Salesforce to support visibility.
