Job summary

Passaic County is seeking a Program Coordinator Special Events to support county-wide educational initiatives and operational programs. Under the direction of the Executive County Superintendent of Schools, you will coordinate special programs, district outreach, and administrative functions.

The role requires strong organizational, communication, and writing skills, a Bachelor’s degree, and a NJ Driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with business and education environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Google Workspace.
• Basic knowledge of website content creation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, organize, and oversee county-wide programs and events.
• Assist in organizing educational events such as driver certification and job fairs.
• Formulate and execute plans for using available funds.
• Design promotional items and materials.
• Liaise between the County office and school districts and update directories.
• Support transportation and certification offices.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Maintain essential records and files.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
