Job summary

Paterson Public Schools seeks a Coordinator of Early Childhood Programs to provide administrative support to the Department of Early Childhood Education, collaborating centers, and families. You will assist with data access, outreach, and reporting, ensuring high levels of customer service across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities include staff coordination, preparing management reports, event support, and collaboration with the fiscal team.

Qualifications

• 60 college credits required, Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience with NJ State-Mandated Preschool Programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and customer service experience.
• Ability to plan, organize, and complete assigned work.
• Ability to analyze data and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience in a high-volume urban school district is preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse constituencies and in English; bilingual a plus.
• Background checks and U.S. citizenship/residency compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Early Childhood Education department and partners.
• Support fiscal team and access to district data systems and technology.
• Prepare management reports and documentation using standard software.
• Coordinate staff attendance and assist with staff changes.
• Deliver excellent customer service to families and staff.
• Coordinate events, trainings, and meetings for the Preschool Program.
• Assist with outreach and communications for Paterson Public Schools.
