Job summary

Right At School is hiring a Program Manager to lead a team of Educators and oversee daily operations at partner schools. You will coach staff, ensure safety and licensing compliance, maintain attendance records, and cultivate strong relationships with families and school partners.

You’ll plan daily enrichment activities and manage program quality, while addressing issues, and promoting a positive, engaging environment for children across Before & After School and related programs.

Qualifications

• Experience managing competing priorities while delivering quality service to staff, families, and school partners.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience working with children, including those with unique or special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development or a related field (preferred).
• Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills with both adults and children.
• Comfortable modeling professional standards around students, parents, staff, and community members.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace or willingness to learn.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Educators, providing coaching, feedback, and day-to-day guidance
• Keep site documentation, licensing standards, and safety and attendance protocols up to date and compliant with state and company standards
• Oversee daily check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accurate "name to face" attendance records
• Communicate regularly with families, school partners, and your Area Manager, responding promptly to emails, calls, and inquiries during program hours
• Plan and oversee daily enrichment curriculum, movement, team games, and independent activity stations delivered by your team
• Address and resolve day-to-day issues or conflicts among staff, students, or families
• Monitor the program environment for safety, addressing hazards and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns promptly and maintain accurate documentation
