Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is seeking paraprofessionals to support students with special needs in partnering school districts. You will assist with classwork, communication, daily routines, and implementing IEP goals in a respectful, patient manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with ParaPro exam or higher.
• Minimum 1 year experience with children.
• Experience with children with special needs or behavior management.
• Proficient with standard computer applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work collaboratively with staff.
• Support students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork and routines.
• Assist with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork, communication and daily routines.
• Help implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency.
• Assist students with special needs who may require mobility or personal care support.
• Create a positive learning environment and collaborate with teachers and staff.
• Support students and therapists to help them thrive and participate in class activities.
