Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Director of Education II to lead the educational operations across departments, programs, markets, and shared services, reporting to an Executive Director. You will oversee multiple groups, perform site visits, audits, and manage affiliation agreements with participating sites on-site at Main Campus.

The role requires strategic planning, staffing, budgeting, compliance with ACGME/NST and other regulators, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Five years of professional, functionally relevant experience.
• Two years of leadership and management experience.
• (Master’s degree may offset up to two years of experience).
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, manpower planning, supervision.
• Experience ensuring compliance with ACGME, NST, and other regulators
• Oral and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead education activities in a matrixed environment and oversee administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance, ethics, and service levels across education operations.
• Collaborate with Education leaders to manage service levels and support.
• Direct strategy, growth, productivity, and financial performance for education.
• Plan staffing, hiring, orientation, evaluation, and continuing education.
• Advise on processes including HR, space, and shared services.
• Research, analyze data, and support long-range planning and external relations.
• Maintain staffing with skilled personnel and optimize organizational structure.
• Monitor processes and implement improvements to maximize service.
• Oversee budget development and expense/revenue analysis for education areas.
