The University of Georgia seeks an Assistant Dean for Education to serve as the Ivester School of Nursing's academic leader for educational programs and clinical track faculty. This position reports to the Dean and drives strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of degree programs to ensure quality and impact.

Qualifications

  • Current or eligibility for registered nurse licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in nursing education.
  • Demonstrated evidence of nursing accreditation processes (CCNE or ACEN).
  • Track record of successful faculty recruitment, mentorship, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for educational programs and clinical track faculty.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate all degree programs for continued quality and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Dean to advance the school's educational mission and nursing workforce development.
  • Foster accreditation readiness and program evaluation initiatives across the Ivester School of Nursing.
