Job summary

The University of Virginia School of Nursing seeks an experienced Associate Dean for Graduate Programs to lead its MSN, CNL, and DNP offerings. The role oversees academic strategy, program quality, and partnerships with clinical sites and UVA Health, reporting to the Dean and participating in senior leadership.

The ADGP will steward scholarly activity, ensure rigorous curricula, and drive continuous improvement across graduate education, with a 50% administrative focus negotiable by year’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for graduate MSN and DNP programs, ensuring academic excellence and alignment with the School's vision.
• Supervise department chairs and program leads; guide faculty and program leaders to advance graduate education and curriculum.
• Advise the Dean and collaborate with senior leadership on academic issues and future hiring needs.
• Foster internal and external partnerships to enhance program quality, clinical site collaborations, and accreditation readiness.
• Oversee program evaluation, data management, reporting, and compliance for accreditation and continuous improvement.
