Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of IT support experience.
• Experience managing Windows/macOS/ChromeOS devices.
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize a varied workload.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
• Degree or HND in Computing or related field.
• Experience supporting IT in an educational environment.
• Familiarity with school MIS systems.
• Experience with virtualization or cloud services (Azure, Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line IT support to staff and students.
• Install, configure, and maintain school computers and printers.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure and servers.
• Perform system checks, updates, and backups for security and reliability.
• Manage the IT asset register with accurate records.
• Deliver IT inductions and training to staff and students.
• Create user guides and FAQs for common IT processes.
• Support educational platforms like Google Workspace and MS 365.
• Assist with data management and GDPR compliance.
• Coordinate IT procurement and liaise with suppliers.
