Job summary

PowerSchool in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Technology Support Specialist II to provide level II technical support for administrative and instructional devices, networks, and VOIP systems. The role combines school-based and district-level responsibilities under the Director of Technology Support.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, assist end-users on-site or remotely, and contribute to CMS technology projects and standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with three (3) years of tech support experience or Bachelor's with two (2) years in tech support.
• Experience with Windows, Google Workspace, and Apple end-user devices and management.
• Ability to work with school staff and vendors to deliver technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tickets and lead installation, repair, and operation of devices and peripherals.
• Provide on-site or remote technical support to end-users.
• Coordinate CMS technology projects, standards, and best practices with schools and central office.
• Maintain accurate Technology inventory and participate in staff meetings.
• Assist with crisis management and escalate issues to level III as needed.
