Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco is seeking an Education Director in San Francisco, CA. You will provide leadership for all academic programs serving youth ages 6–18, overseeing the Learning Center and staff, and building school partnerships to promote academic success and post-secondary planning.

The role emphasizes curriculum development, student engagement, and strong operational oversight, with in-person collaboration and community impact as core goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Experience with curriculum development and school systems.
• Experience serving youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid Class B license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Red Cross First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Learning Center and Education Department.
• Plan and execute educational programs (homework help, tutoring, STEM).
• Supervise staff and volunteers, and manage partnerships with schools.
• Develop outreach to drive participation and transition support.
• Prepare daily statistical and attendance reports.
• Support fundraising events and maintain BGCSF values.
