Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco is seeking a Program Leader for School-Based Clubs to supervise and mentor youth ages 6–18 after school, delivering engaging activities and lessons in a safe environment.

You will design age-appropriate curricula, lead small groups of about 10 youths, and collaborate with a team to meet program goals. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of youth development experience with ages 6–18.
• Ability to build strong relationships and curriculum with youth.
• Strong disciplinary skills to manage youth behavior.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with distractions.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and safety for youth participants.
• Facilitate after-school programs for groups of ~10 youth.
• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Mentor youth and foster self-esteem.
