Job summary

Goody Clancy, a Boston-based education design firm, seeks a Project Manager to guide teams through design and delivery, including on-site work and stakeholder coordination. You’ll lead procurement phases under Massachusetts public procurement laws, shape project direction, and foster client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years in PM, strong leadership and communication, and experience with education-sector or renovation projects.

Qualifications

5-10+ years of project management and project delivery experience.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience with education-sector or renovation/preservation projects is a plus.
Chapter 149 & Chapter 149A experience, with a minimum of one project completed in the last five years, including procurement phase.
Current, unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

Lead and/or support procurement activities for public projects under M.G.L. Chapter 149 and 149A.
Lead project teams in developing and delivering high-quality design solutions.
Collaborate with principals, designers, and technical staff.
Manage project scope, schedule, fee, and team assignments.
Serve as primary client contact and coordinate with consultants.
Oversee project documentation and quality control across all phases.
Conduct site visits, building assessments, and existing-conditions documentation.
Facilitate client meetings and represent the firm professionally.
Travel as required for site work and client engagement.
