Job description

Firm Overview

Goody Clancy seeks a Project Architect to join our collaborative and mission-driven team. As a Boston-based education design firm, we partner with institutions on a variety of new-construction, renewal, and preservation projects to create environments where people are inspired to research, connect, strive, and wonder. The best candidate for this position will have experience and/or a demonstrated interest in education projects, and a familiarity in historic preservation/building renovations is a plus. Position Summary

In this role, you will contribute to the full design and delivery process, supporting the development of thoughtful, high‑quality architectural solutions. You will collaborate closely with project leaders, designers, technical staff, and external partners to advance project goals and uphold strong design and documentation standards. Your work will span conceptual design through construction documents, including technical detailing, coordination, site observations, and research-informed planning.
