Zusammenfassung

Goody Clancy, a Boston-based education design firm, seeks a Project Architect to join a collaborative, mission-driven team. You will contribute to the full design and delivery process, working with project leaders, designers, and clients to advance goals with professional design clarity.

Position reports to Principals and offers a hybrid workplace with in‑office on Mon/Wed/Thu and optional WFH days Tue/Fri, plus ESOP participation and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Professional degree in architecture or preservation; architectural registration preferred.
• 5–10+ years of architectural experience in design and technical development.
• Strong design sensibility and solid understanding of building systems.
• Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
• Experience with education, renovation, or preservation projects is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to the development of design concepts, technical solutions, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with principals, project managers, designers, and technical staff across all project phases.
• Produce drawings, details, and models that support design intent and technical accuracy.
• Coordinate with consultants and assist in integrating structural, MEP, and specialty systems.
• Support quality control through careful documentation, review, and adherence to standards.
• Conduct site visits, field measurements, and existing-conditions assessments.
• Assist with project research, including codes, materials, cost benchmarks, and precedents.
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, helping communicate design ideas and project updates.
• Travel as needed for site review, documentation, and client engagement.
