Job summary

Perkins Eastman seeks a Senior Project Architect with strong construction administration expertise to join our Providence, RI office and support Boston and Stamford education projects.

You will lead interface between clients, contractors and design teams, manage site visits, RFI responses and document control, while ensuring design excellence and compliance with codes and standards. Hybrid work policy applies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction administration experience, preferably on education projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture.
• Licensed architect preferred in RI; LEED knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with AIA contract documents and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction administration activities for education projects.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings with design teams.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and compliance with design intent.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants during construction.
• Maintain project records, correspondence, and field reports.
• Assist in preparing punch lists and close-out documentation.
• Ensure adherence to codes, standards, and contract documents.
• Support multiple projects with effective time management.
