Job summary

The American Association for Justice seeks an Education Program Coordinator, Convention, to support the planning and execution of AAJ Education conventions, focusing on two large-scale events annually with 2000+ attendees per convention. The role includes coordinating speakers, attendee materials, and logistics, and maintaining speaker and attendee records.

In addition to planning, you will conduct post-program follow-up, assist with applications, and provide onsite administration of AAJ's

Qualifications

• Two to three years of work experience in an office/non-profit/association setting preferred.
• Experience in the legal field or with legal professionals is a plus.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines and budget.
• Efficiency and attention to detail are essential; proofreading experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across departments and with support staff.
• Able to work independently with good judgment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and database programs; updating web content is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of AAJ Education convention programming with faculty and course advisors.
• Organize attendee and speaker materials and manage communications with speakers and staff.
• Serve as primary contact for convention speakers on deadlines, schedules, and travel/logistics.
• Develop and maintain speaker database, attendee list, and reference materials.
• Conduct post-program follow-up including attendee and faculty communications and expense reports.
• Assist with speaker applications and draft/ review marketing materials for conventions.
• Provide onsite administration for AAJ Education programs and conventions, coordinating with hotels and venues.
• Assist with other education programs as needed.
