Job summary

Great Lakes Education and Training is seeking an Education and Training Specialist, RN to lead hands-on classes for staff across our assisted living communities in Plymouth, MN. You will be responsible for orientation, dementia care, skills, and medication training, traveling to our sites as needed.

With 2+ years of RN experience, you will create engaging lessons, maintain records, and ensure compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years RN experience in assisted living, long-term care or senior care.
• Clear, encouraging teaching style suitable for new and experienced caregivers.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead classes including orientation, dementia care, skills and medication training.
• Travel to Great Lakes communities for on-site training as needed.
• Maintain training materials and records compliant with MN, WI and CO assisted living requirements.
