Job summary

Great Lakes Management Company is seeking an experienced RN instructor to translate clinical expertise into practical, hands-on training for caregivers across our communities in Minnesota.

You will lead orientation and specialized training in dementia care, medications, and hands-on skills to ensure consistently high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license is required.
• Minimum 2+ years RN experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior care.
• Clear, encouraging teaching style suitable for new and experienced caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead classes that prepare teams for success, including orientation, dementia care, skills and medication training.
• Keep training materials and records current and compliant with MN, WI and CO assisted living requirements.
• Travel to communities for on-site training as needed.

Skills

RN license

RN experience (2+ years)

Teaching ability

Valid driver’s license

CPR instructor certification (a plus)

What you bring

• Active Minnesota RN license (required).

• Experience teaching dementia care, skills and medication administration, or CPR instructor certification, is a plus.
