Job summary

University at Albany seeks a Program Coordinator for Education Abroad to advance inclusive global learning opportunities for students. You will advise students, help recruit and promote programs, and coordinate with overseas partners using Terra Dotta to manage applications and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience working with college or university students in the field of International Education.
• Experience living or studying abroad.

Responsibilities

• Advisement of students on education abroad opportunities in various regions especially in Asia, with emphasis on increasing enrollment in education abroad programs through oversight of recruitment/marketing efforts, liaising with academic departments at UAlbany, and effective use of the Terra Dotta application system.
• Development, administration, and promotion of education abroad programs.
• Communication and administrative coordination with overseas partner universities.
• Participation in and assistance with University at Albany Education Abroad office functions, including virtual presentations, facilitation of education abroad orientation and re-entry programs, review of education abroad applications, and management of correspondence with students and parents in relation to programs.
• Development and maintenance of education abroad promotional materials and resources, including program webpages and flyers. Contribution to the media and marketing events of the Education Abroad office.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
