Job summary

D2L, a cloud education technology company, is seeking a Solutions Architect to be the primary technical escalation point for Sales Engineers. You will scope complex requirements, craft technical solutions, and work with Services teams to achieve customer goals, all while delivering an excellent customer experience in a sales-support capacity.

You will demonstrate expertise in LMS ecosystems, such as Brightspace, APIs, security, and data integration, and you will partner with SEs to drive

Qualifications

Experience in education technology, particularly LMS administration/integration; Brightspace knowledge required.
Experience in a technical sales, consulting, or client-facing role.
Proficiency with AI tools and enterprise software sales processes.
Ability to understand complex business challenges and craft technical solutions.
Familiarity with LMS ecosystem: SIS/HRIS/AMS/CRM, authentication concepts, and data integration.
Excellent verbal and written communication; strong presentation skills.
Experience interpreting RFPs, gathering requirements, or drafting SOWs is a plus.
Team-oriented, proactive problem solver with leadership and initiative.
Able to work remotely with distributed teams and travel occasionally.
Background in education or corporate learning is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main technical escalation point for Solutions Engineers in sales opportunities.
Collaborate with SEs to scope complex requirements and present technical solutions.
Design, document, and present solutions for integrations, security, data exchange, and implementation.
Build trust by focusing on business outcomes and value-driven solutions.
Assess risks and blockers to ensure successful technical wins and delivery.
Coordinate with implementation teams to transfer knowledge for smooth delivery.
Create enablement materials and collaborate with SMEs to fill information gaps.
