Job summary

Hawkes Learning is seeking an Educational Courseware Representative to grow territory revenue for Hawkes software products in higher education, with a focus on math curricula. You will travel to college campuses, identify adoption targets, and coordinate resources to drive adoption.

Ideal candidates will be located in CHICAGO, IL, and possess 1–3 years of field sales experience in educational technology, with strong communication skills and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of proven field sales experience, preferably in educational technology selling math.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Willing to travel (4 days per week on campus travel, semi-regular overnight travel during peak selling season).
• Strong written, oral, and non-verbal communication skills.
• Located in CHICAGO, IL.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel to college campuses to sell Hawkes’ courseware portfolio, including software, textbooks, and workbooks.
• Identify adoption targets, develop a strategic sales plan, coordinate internal resources and manage the sales process through to adoption.
• Research geographic territory to identify key accounts, develop a strategic sales plan to generate leads, and nurture them through the sales process.
• Partner with Customer Success Specialists to identify expansion opportunities.
• Assist with hosting virtual and in-person conferences, webinars, presentations.
• Strategically work on complex committee adoptions by performing needs analyses on key decision makers.
• Maintain contact database and pipeline management.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute follow-up strategies for campaigns and lead-generation.
