Job summary

Pearson is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support data-driven decisions and product initiatives across multiple teams. The role collaborates with Product Management, School Operations, Technology, and Engineering to translate business needs into requirements and scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of BA experience, with strong data analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Operations Analysis, Process Improvement, or related roles.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar enterprise applications.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discovery to understand business problems, user needs, and opportunities.
• Document requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate business needs into actionable documentation for product, engineering, and operations teams.
• Support governance, data governance, and compliance related activities.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations communicating findings.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Data teams.
