Job summary

Florida Department of Revenue seeks an OPS EDP Technician to monitor the nightly batch processes on the 2nd shift (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM), Tuesday through Saturday, in Tallahassee.

You will use OpCon to track jobs, identify failures, triage issues, and assist with form scanning and tracking in the Production Control unit. A background in data processing or batch operations and strong customer service skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of data processing or similar work (data handling, management, analysis) or batch job operations experience.
• Two years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor nightly and weekend batch processes using OpCon.
• Identify and triage batch job failures and process user requests.
• Ensure QA of printed forms, scanning, and tracking of forms.
