  • Receptionist experience in a medical or Long-Term care facility.

Responsibilities

  • Answers phones and routes incoming and in-house calls.
  • Takes and delivers accurate messages to appropriate staff members in a timely fashion.
  • Assists residents, families, and other visitors with any questions.
  • Assist with making doctor appointments for residents.
  • Performs basic bookkeeping, filing, copier, fax machine and other clerical duties.
  • Shred paperwork as needed.
  • Performs other routine office duties as instructed by supervisor.

This is a 15-20 hour a week position

Shift: Evenings, every other weekend and some holidays

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English: speaking, reading, and writing

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

The incumbent will be responsible forhandling several administrative duties, which include assisting the general public,customers,visitors,and other interested parties.

This is an OPS (Other Personal Services) position.
