Bonneville Seattle is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee all content for MyNorthwest, guiding the daily editorial voice and strategy. You will manage digital production staff, ensuring timely, engaging content that aligns with the company’s legacy media properties.

This onsite role requires strong writing, leadership, and newsroom instincts, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as breaking news demands.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in journalism or communications, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with WordPress, HTML, and Photoshop.
• Audio and video editing software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define brand identity for MyNorthwest by stories, angles, styles and techniques.
• Provide editorial vision and day-to-day direction for MyNorthwest including story selection and staffing.
• Supervise writers including recruitment, training, scheduling, coaching and feedback.
• Lead production, gathering, editing, and updating content on MyNorthwest daily.
• Collaborate with Bonneville Seattle management to meet company initiatives.
• Produce on-air content as needed and support all digital properties.
• Maintain quality and leadership image across stations and the website.
• Work with IT and tech teams to ensure web operations run smoothly.
