Job summary

Bonneville International in Seattle is seeking a Fill In Journalist - Anchor / Editor / Writer for on-call coverage across broadcast and digital spaces. This onsite role supports talk shows, the news department, and MyNorthwest.com with accurate, engaging content.

The ideal candidate works independently in a deadline-driven environment, excels at newsroom tasks, and has strong writing, audio editing, and web reporting skills. A four-year journalism degree and 3+ years experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in journalism or related communications (preferred).
• Three+ years in news editing/producing, anchoring, and reporting (preferred).
• Ability to write for the website and report as needed.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and engaging news content for over-the-air and online.
• Ensure high accuracy in news reporting and uphold branding.
• Find, record, edit, and mix audio to meet deadlines.
• Write brief, factual newscasts and updates and deliver them live on air.
• Identify and secure interviews with guests and newsmakers.
