Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking an Editorial & Client Relations Associate to support editorial operations while assisting with client relations and advertising activities. This full-time role divides responsibilities across editorial and sales functions, offering exposure to manuscript workflows and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Professional office experience preferred in publishing, media, marketing, or related field.
• Proficient in Excel, Office suite, Google Workspace, and ad management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Editorial: Review draft manuscripts and ensure components are complete for submission.
• Editorial: Distribute reminders and follow-up communications.
• Editorial: Track manuscript submissions and project status in Excel and internal systems.
• Editorial: Maintain accurate records of correspondence through development reports.
• Editorial: Use SharePoint and other platforms to support workflow management.
• Sales & Marketing: Support business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
• Sales & Marketing: Assist with marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and email outreach.
• Sales & Marketing: Maintain client and prospect records in GoldMine.
• Sales & Marketing: Track sales activity, leads, and business development progress.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and contributors.
• Client Relations: Serve as a primary contact, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries.
