Wiley seeks an Editorial Client Manager to lead a client group within Editorial and Peer Review Services. You will be the primary contact for clients and editors, overseeing day‑to‑day editorial tasks, staff training, and process improvements to ensure high client satisfaction.

You will coordinate with the Senior Manager, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive team performance while upholding Wiley standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience as Managing Editor or Senior Managing Editor.
• Experience managing client projects and teams.
• Proficiency with at least one major online peer review system.

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary point of contact for client day‑to‑day editorial services queries.
• Monitors workload distribution within client groups and flags capacity needs to Senior Manager.
• Ensures day‑to‑day task completion and overall client satisfaction.
• Addresses issues with tasks or staff to maintain client satisfaction.
• Ensures staff are trained on protocols, systems, and best practices.
• Improves internal processes and best practices for the client group.
• Contributes to performance reviews for direct/indirect reports.
• Tracks productivity and workloads for team members.
• Maintains compliance with Wiley policies and professional standards.
• Travels as needed to client meetings and industry conferences.
