Job summary

Oxford University Press in Noida, India, is seeking an Editorial Administrator to support Journals Editorial. You'll manage journal content, subscriptions, indexing applications, payments, and cross-system workflow.

You will work across editorial operations, contract repositories, and IT requests, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate data and timely publishing processes.

  • Maintaining journal homepages and editorial board information.
  • Processing gratis subscriptions and supporting book processing requests.
  • Supporting title-level indexing applications and annual journal impact factor activities.
  • Tracking editorial payments and maintaining accurate payment schedules.
  • Providing cover for the Journals Editorial central inbox and supporting publishing administration activities.
  • Assisting with maintaining contracts repositories and ensuring good data management practices.
  • Preparing reports, coordinating meetings, and supporting team communications.
  • Logging and managing IT support requests where required.
  • Working across systems such as JUPITER, S4 HANA, Tableau, Paperstack, Oxford People, and other publishing platforms.
  • Supporting post-publication corrections workflows and ensuring accurate case management.
  • Assisting with indexing activities and collaborating with data teams to resolve coverage gaps.

In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Journals Editorial function, helping ensure that processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
