Job summary

CGS is seeking an eDiscovery Technician to join the Legal team supporting a large Federal agency. The role involves logging productions, digesting cover letters, performing virus scans, and determining load readiness for Relativity.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of eDiscovery experience, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The position is full-time and on-site, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience in compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information to support project task requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree. Three years of additional, directly relevant work experience may substitute for the degree.
• Knowledge of information resources; excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest long cover letters and describe production contents.
• Obtain passwords from the producing party for encrypted media.
• Determine if documents qualify for loading into Relativity.
• Virus scan productions off-network and on-network; follow escalation if issues arise.
• Copy clean productions to the Agency's network.
• Follow protocols for handling various document types (e.g., MOUs, RFPA, whistleblower documents).
• Analyze productions to determine required processing and completeness.
• Coordinate off-site scanning for multi-box paper productions.
